A
Few Tips On How To Look Good
- Notice how people always complain
about their passport photographs? The direct frontal view is often not flattering.
The best view of a person's face is when the camera is positioned slightly
to the side.
- An onlooker follows a curved
line in the middle of the face. Notice how the pleasing face has a curved
line starting from the brow going down to the root of the nose and right down
to the tip. Try to enhance and not to break this line in your makeup.
- Most people will see you from
a comfortable distance of three feet away. This distance around the person
is referred to as the psychologically "comfort zone". Any casual
person standing closer than three feet from you will cause you to be uncomfortable.
When you want to know how you look to others, try standing one-and-a-half
feet away from the mirror and look at yourself. You are now re then three
feet away from your reflection. That is the comfortable distance from which
another person looks at you. If you cannot see any blemish on your face, it
is probably okay.
- Most people are unaware that their
profile is constantly being observed, for obvious reasons (the onlooker is
looking at you from your side). Take a photograph of your profile if you want
to know what you look like from the side. You then can decide what you want
to do to enhance your appearance.
